How to return a defective item:

  1. BEFORE returning any products, please visit the CONTACT US section to complete and submit the “Return for Refund/Exchange” form to receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) containing your name, shipping address, phone number, email, and reason for the return (including, if applicable, information about the firearm, ammo, and usage environment for defective returns). Please include a copy of the receipt if possible as well.
  2. Once the RMA form has been processed, Strike Industries will provide a return shipping label for the refund or exchange of the product, including the shipping charges for non-expedited traceable shipping methods.
  3. Wrap the item with sufficient padding and place it in an appropriate box or bubble mailer for shipping.
  4. Ship out the package along with placing a printout of the RMA form we provided inside the box.
  5. All processed and approved refunds will be applied to the credit card used during the original purchase. You should allow one to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.
  6. Arrangements for a defective exchange or return must be made within one year of the warranty period, starting from the date the order is received. RMA numbers are valid for 14 days from the issue date. All packages received without an RMA number will be refunded, however, an automatic 20% handling fee ($2 minimum) will apply.
  7. If the product was purchased from a 3rd party, Strike Industries provides no refund but only an exchange option.

Mod 1 Stock Rave ... and Rant

Took a chance and came up with a winner ...with one caveat!
The SI Mod 1 Stock is one of the two best aftermarket stocks I own, the other being a Magpul Zhukov-S.
The Mod1 fits great on a Mil-Spec Carbine buffer tube; much better than a standard M4 stock, no more of that insane rattling. Adjusts simply, mounts naturally and fits comfortably in the shoulder pocket; here in the hot & humid South, shouldering a Mil-Spec M4 stock can and will draw blood
The SI Mod 1 is one of the sleekest stocks I've ever seen. Along with a curved 20-round Duramag magazine, it gives my AR-180 frankenrifle an aesthetically pleasing profile.
Now the caveat. The SI Mod1 Rubber Buttpad (available separately) is absolutely fantastic, absolutely necessary and absolutely should be included WITH the Mod 1 Stock even if at a greater price point. I don't know what Strike Industries was thinking with this sales strategy but thumbing their nose at their customer base is not the best way to create brand loyalty. I was fortunate enough to see the usefulness of the Mod 1 Buttpad and ordered it at the same time as the stock. Others might not realize how it really augments the Mod 1 Stock and then need to order the Mod 1 Buttpad at later date thus incurring yet another shipping fee to obtain what should really be included as a package.
That being said, the Strike Industries products I own are absolutely top quality and employ both cutting edge form and function. I don't foresee swapping them out for another flavor - ever.
