AT3 Billet Trigger Guard – Perfect for Winter and Gloves

This billet aluminum trigger guard works with all mil-spec lower receivers, and makes additional room for manipulating the trigger. The forward scoop of this trigger guard makes it easy to operate the trigger, even with gloves in cold weather. As Minnesotans, having this kind of relief near the magazine well helps us out significantly!

This assembly is 100% made in the USA. Plus, it’s easy to install with roll pin punches, a hammer, and allen wrench set.

How Do I Install this Trigger Guard?

This trigger guard’s installation is fairly simple with the right tools. Make sure to support the “ears” of your lower around the trigger pocket. These thinner parts of the lower are liable to break when you start tapping in the roll pin. The support doesn’t need to be anything special; lots of people just use a spare roll of masking tape.

Once your lower is supported, set the trigger guard inside the pocket, with the curved side closest to the magazine well. Using a small allen wrench, secure the front section by backing out the small set screw until its flush with the receiver. After aligning the rear section, carefully tap in the roll pin with a punch and hammer until that too is flush with the receiver.

One of the best

I grabbed one of the tungsten trigger guards for my recent build and wow am I impressed . The fitment, cerakote, threaded roll pin holes . The design is top notch.

Spacious

The quality I’ve come to expect from AT3.

FYI if you plan on using a pistol grip with a duck bill you will need to slighty shave the underside against the lower to get it Sqaure- due to the pitch of the guard. See picture

Machining off.

Took a lot of strength to get it to be screwed into a brand new lower. The roll pin isn’t even all the way in because the hole isn’t lined up properly. I haven’t had this issue before on the lowers I’ve put together.
