The Ultra-Light Charging Handle for Your AR-10/LR308 Pattern Rifle

If you’re going to trick out your new AR-10, the charging handle is the perfect place to start.  Problem is, the ones that feel and look the best tend to be vastly more expensive than their AR-15 counterparts.  Until Breek Arms dropped their AR-10/LR308 version of their Warhammer charging handle, coming in at a great price, with all the trimmings of the smaller version.

Breek Arms WARHAMMER Mod 2 Ambidextrous Charging Handle

Short Throw Handles and Gas-Busting Features

This bigger version of the Warhammer still retains the large, set-back levers, which are perfect for reaching around bulkier optics mounts close to your eye.  These ambidextrous levers have a shorter throw than other charging handles, making charging feel better and just a hair faster.  The handle also has a raised gasket, and a gas-diverting cut on the right side, ensuring that propellant gas doesn’t reach your eye.  Especially handy for suppressors, but will easily tame backpressure in just plain overgassed rifles.

Compatible With

Aero M5, DPMS Gen1 High and Low, Knights Armament SR25, STAG-10, Armalite AR10, Daniel Defense DD5 V3, V4, V5, and many others using DPMS Gen1 or Armalite AR10 platform.

Not Compatible With

IG716, Savage MSR10, Smith and Wesson M&P10, DPMS R-25 Gen II, Colt LE901, Bushmaster BAR-10, RRA LAR-8, HK MR762

Highly recommend

Perfect addition for my AR10 -243. Makes it easier to grab my charging handle while running my HALO XRF. Another great feature is the gas is pushed away from my eye. With the stock charging handle, my eye would get a burst of gas pressure after I shot. Expensive but would do it again!

Thank you for your feedback! We're thrilled to hear that our WARHAMMER Mod 2 Ambidextrous Charging Handle has been a perfect addition to your AR10 -243. We're glad to know that it has made it easier for you to grab the handle while using your HALO XRF and is also providing additional safety by directing gas away from your eye. We understand that our product may be on the pricier side, but we're happy to hear that you would still choose it again.

Update my charge handle

Would not fit my Great Lakes Firearms AR10, the notches were too big to fit in the slot even though it was suppose to fit DPMS platform which this rife is built according to the manufacturer. I filed the notches down to fit. Once I got them to size, it works like it should. I will be trying the rifle at the range in a couple of days to see if there are any issues.

Not right for my AR10

The Warhammer won't work in my PSA PA10, doesn't allow the bolt to go fully into battery and is hanging up. No issues with the OEM or with another brand of ambi extended charging handle I have.

Could just be this one out of spec since the reviews are so good but 2 other handles I have work fine so I don't know.

It's ok but not great

I understand that standardization on ar10s is limited but the angle of the clip is far too steep and gets hung up when trying to lower the charging handle forward. You have to pull back a little on the handle to get it to lock in. Not really great.
